About NOW
Nothing outweighs work
isn't a slogan. It's the
entry fee.
NOW Basketball Performance exists because talent gets a player noticed and work is what keeps them on the floor.
What NOW is
One trainer, working with one athlete or a small group at a time, building the parts of their game that decide whether they play. Not a franchise, not a rotating staff — the same coach every session, who knows what you worked on last week and what you still owe.
Why it started
[Coach: this is where the real story goes. Why you started NOW, what you saw missing in the training athletes were getting, and the moment you decided to build it yourself. Two or three paragraphs in your own words will do more for a parent reading this than anything written for you.]
The approach
Every athlete starts with an honest look at their game — what they're good at, what they avoid, and what a coach would say if nobody was being polite. From there the sessions get built backward from the game: skills taught in the situations they'll be used in, at the speed they'll be used at, against someone trying to stop them.
Progress gets tracked out loud. Athletes should be able to tell you what they're working on and why, because a player who understands their own development keeps improving after the session ends.
Background
[Coach: playing background, coaching background, certifications, programs you've worked with, years training. Keep it factual — parents read this part closely.]
The name
N.O.W.
The letters aren't decoration. They're the whole standard, and the sand doesn't care how talented you are.
- NothingNo shortcut, no hot streak, no growth spurt, and no amount of natural ability.
- OutweighsPuts more on the scale. When it's close — and it's always close — this is what tips it.
- WorkThe reps nobody's watching. The extra hour, the weak hand, the day you didn't feel like it.
Standards
How every session runs
Honest assessment
Athletes get told the truth about their game. Kindly, but clearly — you can't fix what nobody names.
Game translation
If a rep only works in an empty gym, it hasn't earned its place. Everything gets pressured before it counts.
Ownership
Athletes leave knowing what to work on alone. The goal is a player who doesn't need a trainer to keep improving.

Tell me the athlete, the level, and when you're free. You'll get times back that fit — usually inside a day.
